Tuahu Kauri Walking Tracks

Feast your eyes on one of the biggest Kauri trees in the Bay Of Plenty. The Kauri being named Tuahu, after its location on an old Maori route that was used as a bridle track in the 1890s.

This track takes you into the Kaimai Mamaku Forest, through nativeĀ  forest and flourishing Rimu and Kauri.
